Hello, I’m Jose Antonio, a Central Florida-based artist with a passion for creating vibrant, meaningful works of art in acrylic on canvas. My journey as an artist has been deeply influenced by my Puerto Rican heritage, which informs the bold colors, textures, and themes found in much of my work. Each piece I create is a reflection of my connection to nature, my roots, and my desire to evoke emotion and spark conversation through visual storytelling.

Though my professional background began in a very different field, the call to create has always been a part of me. I started my career in the legal sector, working my way up from a legal receptionist to a paralegal, but I soon realized that my true passion lay in more creative pursuits. This realization led me to pivot into the world of marketing and web design. While my web design work allowed me to craft digital experiences for brands, I found myself returning to the tactile, expressive world of painting, where I could fully explore my creativity on canvas.

I specialize in acrylic painting because of the versatility and depth it offers. Whether I’m working on abstract pieces or more defined representations, acrylic allows me to layer, experiment, and express emotions in ways that feel organic and dynamic. My artwork is designed to invite viewers into a dialogue—each piece tells a story, but it also leaves room for personal interpretation. Whether you’re seeking a bold statement piece for your home or a more subtle addition to your space, I aim to create works that resonate on a personal level.

Beyond my painting, I continue to pursue another creative passion part time: helping others bring their own visions to life online. I fine-tuned my self-taught web design and development skills at Wilmington University in Delaware, where I earned a degree that solidified my expertise. Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of working with a variety of brands, helping them establish a meaningful online presence. Some of the projects I’m most proud of include Joe Funk Construction in Dallas, Texas, The New Victorian School in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, and The Romel Joseph Collection (coming again soon)in Miami, Florida. Even though I’ve stepped back from the marketing and advertising industry, I still enjoy working on select passion projects, helping motivated individuals and small businesses build websites that reflect their unique brand voice.

At the heart of everything I do—whether it’s painting or web design—is the desire to create something meaningful and lasting. My art is deeply personal, but I love knowing that each piece will find a new home where it can inspire and connect with others. Likewise, I’m passionate about helping others craft their own stories, whether through art or through digital platforms.
